With the Summer Season on our doorsteps, we felt it was the perfect time to introduce some new prompts here on RH.

Random Prompt Suggestions

1) "...fade back into the nightmare you crawled out of."

2) Would she ever reconcile the person she knew before with the man/woman now standing in front of her?

3) That was the problem with masks; if you wore one for too long, sometimes it stuck.

4) If he didnt know any better, he'd think it was a gift - and that thought was distrurbing, to say the least.

Dear Members and Friends,

It's about time Raising Hell suggested a new prompt to the masses, so here is our latest suggestion: an episode specific double drabble challenge.

Write a short piece, ranging between 200-500 words, on any topic, character, canon or missing scene, quote or idea - or whatever else tickles your fancy! - from the episode GILL GIRL. Let your muse go wild!

Submissions should be posted on the Raising Hell archive. Thank you :)

Challenge Guidelines

Write a story - something between episodes, behind the scenes, alternative takes, filler pieces, etc. - using an unusual character pairing. What constitutes an unusual pairing? As long as one of the two characters is a secondary or lesser-used canon character, everything's copacetic.

Note: We're aiming for uncommon groupings, so while Original Cindy is a secondary character and it would fit the guidelines of the challenge to pair her with a main character, try to be a bit creative and put her with someone other than Max, Logan, Alec or Sketchy. (For example: Asha, Gem, Mole...) :D

Stories can be any genre or rating that you choose, romantic angles optional.

Revisionist History Challenge

Ask any two people about one single event and they will most likely give you five different versions. How did it really go? What’s the real scoop?
Choose any two (or more) canon characters and an event, big or small, and let them duke it out (physical violence optional! :P ).

This session begins on July 1st, 2011 and will run until the end of August.

Deadline for all submissions is August 31th, 2011 @ 11:59pm GMT.

Minimum requirements are 100 words (basic drabble length) with no maximum word count.

All ratings accepted, though we remind you to kindly label your stories correctly and place them in the RH Challenges category (and under Challenge Response for story type) upon submission.

This may not be a competition with a challenge draw, but we still hope to see some of your awesome creativity, serious or funny, whatever you like. We look forward to reading your stories!
